2018 marks the 10th Annual PEEPS Chick Drop, one of the many celebratory highlights at PEEPSFEST. This two-day festival is a long-standing tradition for families in Bethlehem, home to the famous PEEPS marshmallow chicks.
How giant is the PEEPS Chick that will drop on Monday night? This Chick weighs in at 400 pounds! As for its height, the giant PEEPS Chick is four feet and nine inches tall.
If standing in the crowds at Times Square waiting for the ball to drop at midnight isn’t your thing, the PEEPS Chick Drop is a pretty sweet alternative.

Beyond the Chick Drop, however, there’s also a nationwide sweepstakes launching at PEEPSFEST. PEEPS Helping Peeps will feature the PEEPS brand opening its factory doors for the first time ever to the public. One lucky fan will win a V.I.PEEPS factory tour experience for four, plus a shopping spree at the PEEPS AND COMPANY Store!
While this does sound very Willy Wonka-esque (we’re fairly certain no Oompa Loompas or chocolate rivers will be found inside), the sweepstakes is also for a great cause. PEEPS is partnering with The United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley (UWGLV) to give back to the community.
